Joni A Yoswein
Joni Yoswein is a former member of the New York State Assembly with more than 20 years of experience at senior levels of State and City government. Prior to her election, she served as Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the Assembly and was Director of Communications for the Assembly Majority. She also has served as Assistant Commissioner for the New York City Department of Aging. Ms. Yoswein founded Yoswein New York, Inc. in 1994.
Jamie Van Bramer
Prior to joining YNY in 1998, Jamie Van Bramer was a Senior Account Executive at Geto & deMilly public relations, where he was responsible for numerous national corporate and institutional clients. Previously, he was Chief of Staff and Press Secretary to Assemblyman and Bronx Democratic Leader Roberto Ramirez and has served on the staff of the Speaker of the New York City Council.
Sandra Rivera, Esq.
Ms. Rivera joined YNY from Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, where she represented legal, legislative and regulatory clients before the NYS Legislature, Executive Chamber and NYS agencies. She has more than 15 years of legal and policy experience in state government on issues ranging from legal services and health care to education and economic development. She previously served as a legislative representative for the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) and New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) and began her public affairs career with the NYS Assembly Majority Leader.
Glenn Van Bramer
Glenn Van Bramer is an award-winning journalist who merged his successful marketing and public relations firm, New Amsterdam Associates, with YNY in 1994. He is a former senior Congressional policy assistant and Journalism professor at Bennett College.
Shaneek Smith comes to Yoswein New York from the New York City Council, where she served as a Legislative Clerk in the Office of the Speaker. During her tenure at the City Council, she worked closely with leadership, senior staff and individual Council Members on a wide range of policy initiatives, public hearings and special events.
Kai D. Feder
Kai D. Feder most recently served as the director of capital budget and economic development for the Office of the Brooklyn Borough President, where he focused on strategic investment of capital funds and the development of Brooklyn’s business community. He has held positions in the public and private sectors, and has served on the boards of numerous local development organizations, including the New York City Economic Development Corporation.
Jeffrey Denman came to YNY from Bank Street College of Education, where he served as a Change Management Assistant responsible for helping to establish their strategic plan. Prior to that he served in the New York State Assembly as a Legislative Assistant to Assembly Member Walter Mosley. During his time with the Assembly, he worked extensively with elected officials and community based organizations on housing policy and related issues. Jeffrey received a Master of the Arts in Public Policy from Stony Brook University.
