Joni A Yoswein, President and CEO of Yoswein New York, was recently honored at the Rev. Jerome A. Greene Democratic Club’s 2nd Annual Awards Dinner, I Am My Brother’s Keeper.
The Bronx-based Democratic Club, which counts Deputy Borough President and former Assembly Member Aurelia Greene, Council Member Vanessa Gibson and Assembly Member Latoya Joyner amongst its members, was celebrating its 38th year in existence.
“Honoring a diverse group of extraordinary leaders, tonight’s dinner reflects the ambitious agenda that the Rev. Jerome A. Greene Democratic Club has promoted since its inception,” Assembly Member Joyner wrote in a program letter to the club.
“Receiving this award has been a great honor of my career,” said Ms. Yoswein. “I have tremendous respect for Deputy Borough President Greene, and all that she’s accomplished throughout her life – I consider her a dear friend and mentor.”
Ms. Yoswein accepted the award after being introduced by Deputy Borough President Greene.
“Joni is genuine, she is real,” remarked Deputy Borough President Greene. “She’s done tremendously well, not just for herself, but for the residents of Brooklyn and for the residents of the state of New York”
